Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Service Description

Signbee provides an API-first e-signature service operated by B2bee Ltd. The service allows you to send, sign, and verify documents programmatically via REST API, MCP server, or Agent Skill integration.

2. Account Terms

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API key.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
  • One person or entity may maintain no more than one free account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Signbee to:

  • Send documents containing illegal or fraudulent content.
  • Impersonate another person or entity in signing ceremonies.
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse the API in ways that degrade service for other users.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the SHA-256 signing certificate system.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Free plan: 5 documents per month at no cost, no credit card required.
  • Pro plan: $9/month for 100 documents per month.
  • Business plan: $19/month for unlimited documents.

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.

5. Legal Validity of Signatures

Electronic signatures created through Signbee are intended to be legally valid under the UK Electronic Communications Act 2000, the US ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. §7001), and the EU eIDAS Regulation (No 910/2014). Signbee provides Simple Electronic Signatures (SES). For regulated industries requiring Advanced or Qualified Electronic Signatures, consult legal counsel.

6. Document Integrity

Every signed document includes a SHA-256 integrity hash and signing certificate page. We store signing metadata (timestamps, IP addresses, signature images) to provide an audit trail. We do not guarantee that signed documents will be accepted by all courts or regulatory bodies in all jurisdictions.

7. API & Uptime

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it. We are not liable for losses caused by API downtime, failed email delivery, or delayed signing ceremonies. Rate limits apply per plan tier.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, B2bee Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via the email associated with your account.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
