Trusted Timestamping
The process of securely recording the date and time when a document was signed, using a trusted third party. Proves that a document existed and was signed at a specific moment.
Timestamps are critical for legal validity — they prove when a signature was applied. In disputes, the timestamp establishes the chronological order of events.
Signbee records timestamps for every signing event and includes them in the SHA-256 certificate.
